Alix Fox

Alix Fox is an award-winning journalist, presenter and sex educator known for having a personality chirpier than a gargantuan aviary, a composure brighter than a 10,000 watt bulb, and a reputation for imparting reliable advice in a way that’s sensitive and respectful, yet bubbling over the edges with effervescent fun. You’re pretty much guaranteed to come away from one of her talks with a tonne of new ideas and info, and a supersized grin on your chops.

A former editor on Bizarre magazine, where she tried out all sorts of sexual adventures from underwater bondage to investigating unusual smell fetishes, Alix has written for a huge range of publications and websites including Marie Claire, Grazia, Time Out, The Telegraph, Vogue, Closer, Men’s Fitness, The Debrief, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and many others. She pens a column on sex toys for the Metro, and is a finalist for the title of Best Erotic Journalist in the 2015 ETO Awards.

Alix is also an official Sex Expert for Durex, and regularly appears on TV and radio shows, talking about sex and alternative culture. In addition, she teaches educational workshops for Ann Summers.

Gareth will be chairing a industry debate as part of the Sexhibition Industry Party on Friday 21st – Should All Porn Be Behind A Paywall?

This debate will explore the potential regulation of online adult content. What’s already being done to stop children accessing online porn? What would the fiscal fallout be for the adult industry if all porn was placed behind a credit card pay wall? Is it even feasible to regulate adult content?

Rachael McCoy is an award winning sex and relationship coach who is driven and inspired by helping others to achieve the relationship and sex life they have always wanted.

It was in 2007 that Rachael began her journey to learn as much as she could about sex and relationships. Soon after, she began conducting workshops for women with the aim of these ladies learning more about themselves and how they can use in this in communicating their feelings with their partner.

This led to working with some of the UK’s best adult companies, where she continued to learn more as well as hosting her own online show discussing the various benefits of products and how these could help in your sex life.

In 2012 Rachael launched Inspiring Sexuality; an online portal to discuss sexuality and relationships for both women and men. She creates unique online workshops where viewers can access in the comfort of their own home. In addition, Rachael specialises in teaching and demonstrating sexual techniques where people can learn practical advice as well as theoretical. All techniques are demonstrated on realistic moulds as Rachael found this to be a much more effective way of teaching. Rachael also believes in the importance of teaching confidence and communication strategies within the relationship.

Rachael’s friendly and open style of teaching is what makes her likeable and approachable. She is often referred to as encouraging, supportive and like a friend that is always on hand to dish out helpful advice.  Rachael was recently voted as the top 2013 UK Sexpert and she is currently writing her first book on better sex which will be out later in the year.

Sarah Berry is a qualified and experienced psychosexual and relationship therapist who helps poly groups, couples and individuals overcome or manage a wide range of issues. She holds sessions over the phone, online or at her London office.

As well as being an agony aunt for Fiesta and Kent’s Miskin radio, Sarah has appeared in a range of publications including The Telegraph, Company, Forum, DIVA, The Daily Mail and The Huffington Post. She has also been a guest on Radio Four’s Women’s Hour.

In 2010, Sarah founded the support group Fannying Around. Due to return soon, this is an exciting group
where women, trans and intersex folk can rant, celebrate, discuss and share advice about their bodies and sex lives.

Sarah has also had the pleasure of working as a Sunday girl at Sh! Women’s store – a sexual health store for women and their admirers. Here she learned a great deal about the different products on the market that can enhance our sex lives. Marc Blackie

Sexhibition is also hosting a rare chance to see Marc Blackie’s short films in the UK. With exhibitions and screenings held in Paris, Rome and Berlin over the last few years, this cinematic event will also include a question and answer session with the director; for those who would like to know more about his dark surrealistic take on the erotic.

As though directed by “David Lynch with a hard-on” and the “Salvador Dali of the Fetish World” are just two of the terms that have been used to describe the sublimely erotic and uniquely uneasy short films of British director Marc Blackie.

Whilst not for the faint hearted, the acclaimed photographer turned film maker’s work is as provocative as it is sexually alluring as he takes us on a journey beneath the surface of lust with a wry sense of humour and a healthy dose of cynicism.
