Erotic World book day – have you heard of it? Well, if you have a child or any connection with a school/nursery I can almost guarantee you’ve heard of World Book Day. You’ll have probably had to buy or make a costume for the celebrations. I’ve made a few in my time from a cardboard dragon to the worst witch. I even dressed up as Paddington bear one year. Well, any excuse, really.
I digress, Erotic World Book Day is brand spanking new (see what I did there?) and started with an idea from the lovely Emily Dubberly of Cliterati. She brought together smutty people like Cara Sutra and Smut UK and a whole host of top erotic authors to create this celebration of the world of erotic books.
Of course there’s been the hoo ha over the film release of THAT book but Erotic World Book Day aims to celebrate the fact that there are millions of dirty words penned in sexy books that aren’t Fifty Shades of Grey. There’s a hell of a lot more to the genre than that. Thank God!
To illustrate the above point there’s going to be an eBook produced full of education themed sexy short stories that will be sold from the 5th March onwards and all profits will go to Brook, the sexual health charity. It will feature my story ‘ I Told you So’ where married couple Ed and Debbie take a well needed spring walk spiced up by a sexy bet.
You get to enjoy a book full of sexy goodness and know you’re doing good at the very same time. What could be better?
